We had our iMath Fair on Tuesday.  I was responsible for teaching the "Picture Smart" students.  We did a patterning activity with toothpicks.  The students had to predict the 10th picture and then I made it really hard and they had to predict the 20th picture in the series. Helmet Safety

Image
Don't make your helmet too snug under your chin Yesterday we were treated to a great presentation by the Newfoundland Brain Injury Association.  The jello model of the brain was a real hit!  The presentation provided some great examples as to why everyone should wear helmets.  Remember to wear your helmets this summer everyone! Mr. Walter left us all in suspense today! Thanks Mr. Walter, we appreciate you coming! Late last week I began reading the book Shiloh to the class.  This is a book that we are listening to for pure pleasure.  So far I have invited Ms. Harris, Ms. Doyle and Mr. Walter to come to our class to read.  The students love our guest readers. Ms. Harris posing with Shiloh Thanks for finding the time to read to the students!

Last Technology Class of the Year

Today Mr. Walter asked the students to fill out a short survey about what they enjoyed the most during Technology class this year.  He gave them time to play the games they really like as well as listen to a few songs.  Until next year Mr. Walter.
