Math homework this week

March 19, 2012 Dear Parents and Guardians, The quest to make my students better Math multiplication students continues this week.   The students are telling me that they have really enjoyed playing the Math games that I have been sending home.   Special thanks to all the Nans and Pops who helped the students learn their facts.   I have tried to reiterate with the students that it is important to commit their facts to memory.   This week I am sending home some good practice.   The students have learned to solve problems the traditional way (i.e. the way you would have done it in school) so this is the method I would like them to try to perfect this week. The curriculum outcome for Grade 5 states that the students should be able to multiply two digit by two digit numbers.   Your child has 4 sheets to complete this week.   One page should be completed each night as it is better to work 15-20 minutes each night rather than complete all the work in one night.   Please help to guide your chi
