Easter Cards

For the past several days the students have been working on creating Easter cards for a variety of audiences.  I brought in 5 Easter cards and we discussed how messages change for various people.  We looked at Easter messages for a baby, religious Easter greeting cards, cards for neighbours, etc.  Maybe you will be lucky enough to receive one of the beautiful cards created.

David Suzuki Challenge

We started participating in the 30x30 David Suzuki Outdoor Challenge yesterday.  He is challenging Canadians to spend 30 minutes outside each day for 30 days.  Yesterday we managed to get our 30 minutes outside but unfortunately today was pretty miserable.  Hopefully we can have a picnic outside in the weeks to come.  In the meantime, please make sure that your child comes to school with a hat and mittens to ensure they are ready for the cold Spring days we have around here.
