A little algebra

Well, my little students are algebra stars!  We have been working on solving some basic equations and I am pleasantly surprised with the results.  We will be having a little quiz on Patterns next Friday.  A test outline will be provided tomorrow.

Origami Delight

Today the class had the dreaded Grade 4 needle.  As a reward for all the suffering, I decided that we would spend part of our afternoon making origami cats.  One student in our class is from Japan so she was the teacher.  I learned along with the rest of the class.  We all had a great time!
