We could be heard all over the building. We belted out our two French Christmas carols! If only I could change the orientation of this photo! Sigh!

Our Space unit is officially over. We ended our unit with a walk around Kenny’s Pond to collect rocks that we could use to model constellations.

We used linking cubes to try to figure out how many blocks would be in 20 towers.

We had a great time walking around the pond and visiting the seniors at Kenny’s Pond Retirement Home.

Here we are making rectangles to try to find factors.

Many thanks to all the parents who donated the OREO cookies necessary for this project!  We had a great time!

We spent a little time yesterday finding our decimal partner. Some students had the number written in words while others had it written in standard form. They liked it so much that they asked to play it a second time!

I walked in on this a few days ago.

Today we completed a graffiti activity in Science to discuss what we know about Space and Technology.

We had a great time at the Fluvarium. The outdoor scavenger hunt designed to help understand and classify things that were living, non-living and dead was quite enjoyable.

We enjoyed a great visit from Dr Furlong today.  He taught us so many interesting things to keep our teeth healthy! Of course, I had to choose one of his patients to present him with one of our MQP pens.

Fun Day at the Techniplex

Todsy we used Boggle and Scrabble to help us improve our word building skills.
